I am a PhD researcher in Politics at Queen's. In my present research, I aim to provide a theoretical framework that integrates ecofeminist political philosophy with green republicanism to prioritise sustainability over economic growth. Specifically, I am focusing on strategies to democratise the politics of care, which can address both gender inequality and ecological unsustainability. To this end, my research proposes the notion of 'political care' as a form of ecofeminist-republican citizenship and explores the institutionalisation of this concept.
