Please join us for a seminar with Professor Toni Hasstrup to launch the Centre for Gender in Politics' 2023-2024 research theme 'Transforming peace, mediation, and security: feminist and queer communities making change'. Maria-Adriana Deiana will join Toni in a discussion about her experience doing feminist research in international studies as it relates to this year's research theme.
Toni is a political researcher and incoming chair in Global Politics at the University of Manchester. Her research considers Africa-EU relations and feminist foreign policy. She was awarded the 2022 Flax Foundation's Emma Goldman Award for her work on feminist and inequality issues.
