Thursday November 7, 2024 5:00-7:00pm
With Dr Eva Grew and Dr Jocelyn Dautel from Queen's University Belfast in collaboration with Politics in Action .
This event is aimed at anyone who has something to say about young people’s challenges and resources when navigating the complex world of information. What can help young people to seek objective information? What strengthens their voice? Join us for an informal panel discussion about these topics – there will be tea, coffee, and biscuits! Whether you’re a young person, a parent, or a teacher or youth worker, we would love to hear from you. By participating in this event, we hope that young people will feel heard and make a positive difference for their community.
The event will take place in Training Room 7 of the Graduate School at Queen's University Belfast
Sunday October 27, 2024 11:00-1:00pm
Ulster Museum, Belfast Room, Belfast
This event went really well, delighted to see everyone. We had a series of fun, free and family-friendly activities. Children and their caregivers joined us at the Ulster Museum for a morning of games, colouring and puzzles for the children and flash talks for the caregivers to share recent research findings around children and how they develop. Children were able to find out about role of the researcher to see what it’s like to be involved in research studies.
Below are some photos from our day.
