LUNG, COLORECTAL, BREAST, MELANOMA AND UPPER GI CANCER INCIDENCE AND SURVIVAL STATISTICS FOR NORTHERN IRELAND: 1993-2022
Official statistics on lung, colorectal, breast, melanoma and upper GI cancer diagnosed in Northern Ireland during 1993-2022 were published on Wednesday 20th November 2024 at 9:30am. This release provides details of the number of cancer cases diagnosed each year along with incidence rates over time and data for a range of geographic areas. Survival trends and prevalence data (the number of people alive) are also provided. For completeness data on cancer mortality is provided courtesy of the General Register Office for Northern Ireland.
