Played through the Sonic Laboratory's immersive loudspeaker array (up to 48 speakers) with the composer providing live sound diffusion, these works include rare sounds from air-driven sources, AI-generated audio wastes, synthetic techniques creating an organic virtual sounding body, and a piece which features a prepared Chinese guzheng (video recording). These compositions reflect Bihe's "self as method" approach, using personal experiences, culture, and memory as nourishment to critically examine challenges and creatively reshape the boundaries between tradition and modernity.
