Chiara Burattini (cello) and Maddalena Giacopuzzi (piano) is a duo from Accademia dei Cameristi di Bari, one of the most important music organisations in southern Italy directed by Mariarita Alfino, which allows young musicians to play alongside with internationally well-known artists. The program by Burattini and Giacopuzzi will include Schumann’s Fünf stücke im Volkston op.102, Rossini’s Une Larme, and Brahms’s Sonata op 99.
Chiara Burattini graduated from the Conservatoire of Milan and Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome. She has performed with numerous international soloists and ensembles. Maddalena Giacopuzzi graduated from the Conservatoires of Verona and Bolzano as well as Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia from Rome. A member of the Evan Piano Quartet, she is dedicated to both solo performance and chamber music.
