Bramley graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 1987 with a BSc in Computer Science, and got his first start at the BBC as an Analyst Programmer in the Computer Graphics Workshop. Since 1990 he has worked within BBC Sport, working his way up from Assistant Producer to Director and Senior Producer, and eventually to his current role as Executive Producer.
He has worked on a variety of major programmes and events, including Wimbledon, Premier League, F1, Six Nations, Ski Sunday and Cricket.
His current role involves planning the BBC’s coverage of Summer and Winter Olympic Games (with his eye set on Tokyo 2020!), Commonwealth Games and major Golf events.
