Jason Dasent has over 25 years’ experience in all aspects of recording and music production including live performance. Over the past 6 years, he's been developing overlays to popular music production software, thus making them accessible to screen readers and he now consults with several music equipment manufacturers to help them to make their hardware and software accessible from the back end.
His work in accessibility allows him to utilise the latest equipment to deliver dynamic and entertaining performances. Jason is currently pursuing a PhD at Kingston University where he is developing a voice assistant for use in recording studios to allow differently abled producers and audio engineers to function more independently.
