A research proposing a possible line of vocal inquiry, if not unique, original in which a personal artistic practice is proposed under the name of Vocal Performance. In this, the artist experiences physical and mental states that lead him to enter what we will call a performative state and through which a characteristic characteristic of the voice sound can be made manifest: vocal multiplicity.

Sarmen understands Alchemy as a way of intertwining physical, psychic and spiritual materials based on technical, theoretical and intuitive knowledge, to reach change, metamorphosis. She argues that in vocal performance the artist experiences an alchemical - artistic - vocal transmutation at the moment of entering a performative state, becoming exposed by giving voice and becoming through it.
