We organise a Democracy Unit Seminar Series which meets regularly each semester. Research papers are presented by members or specially invited speakers. For example:

On 25 October, 2019, Prof. Garry, Dr Breen, Dr Fabre, and Dr Raymond shared their research on various aspects of democracy.

December 6, 2019:  a roundtable discussion of Dr Kuyper’s co-authored book on deliberative global governance.

March 29, 2020: seminar in Newry at which Trinity College Dublin, University College Dulbin, and Democracy Unit academics will discuss “democracy and equality”.

Members of the Democracy Unit also organise a long-standing and successful Political Theory Seminar Series which focuses on all aspects of political theory, including, several times a semester, various aspects of democratic theory.
