Students from the Alcala de Henares School in Madrid visited WWIEM on 11 October 2018 to hear about the cutting-edge research being carried out in the Institute.  Students and their teacher, Mark Donnelly, were greeted by Professor Jose Bengoechea, Director of WWIEM, and heard from academics and postdocs such as Dr Reinhold Medina, Dr Maria Salvador, Dr Jose Romero and Dr Rosana Penalva about their research and their careers to date.  The group then got a tour of WWIEM from Dr Derek Brazil and were encouraged to remain in contact in the future.
