Administered by the Council of Legal Education (Northern Ireland) under the scrutiny of the Law Society, the Bar Council and Queen's University Belfast, the Institute of Professional Legal Studies is the platform from which successful legal careers are launched. This is Northern Ireland’s first such law school and it commands respect both at home and internationally. The quality of our graduates is recognised by employers. 

Our trainees have consistently brought honours and awards to the Institute through international competitions and our teaching staff have secured global recognition for academic excellence. 

This pursuit of excellence is based on the successful fusion of respect for traditional teaching methods and the embracing of new ideas and innovative approaches to continual personal development and constant revision of the course curriculum.
