This course is designed for legal professionals and will equip them to understand the mediation process, to advise their clients, and to offer services as a mediator. 

The course will be provided by the LSMS and will be delivered by expert mediators and mediator trainers.

In addition to mediation veteran Brian Speers (who has lectured and mediated internationally as well as locally), commercial dispute mediator Gareth Jones and experienced trainer Professor Barbara Jemphrey, MBE will lead the training faculty.  Distinguished guest contributors will also participate - drawn from the Judiciary, the Bar and family law practitioners. 

The course is approved by the Law Society as eligible training to satisfy requirements of the LSMS.
