A team of trainees from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies took part last week in the Michael Peart Cross Border Mediation Competition held in Blackhall Place. The cross-border competition is a collaboration between the Law Society of Ireland and the Institute of Professional Legal Studies.

Nine teams of four trainees each participated in two mediation rounds. The contest promotes the value of resolving disputes through mediation, and is designed to help trainees from both institutions to develop their mediation skills in tandem with receiving feedback from expert practitioners.
