Irish Studies Working Papers

Working Papers are open access pre-publication versions of academic articles, book or completed dissertation or chapters, or conference papers. Papers posted on this site are either in progress, undergoing revision, under submission, or in press and forthcoming elsewhere.

Working Papers are intended to stimulate academic debate and generate constructive feedback for authors as they prepare their work for publication. We encourage comments!  Please send comments and questions about a particular Working Paper directly to the author at the email address listed on the cover page.

This series is hosted by the Institute of Irish Studies, Queen's University Belfast, and contains papers by academic staff and postgraduate students of QUB and partner universities and institutions on topics relating to all aspects of Irish Studies. Our aim is to make Irish Studies research accessible through a dedicated portal.
