State-of-the-Art Report of the RILEM Technical Committee
Professor Mohammed Sonebi has chaired the RILEM committee TC-266 on rheology of cement-based materials since 2015 with an international expert group from academia, concrete industries, cement companies, supplier of rheometers, consultants, research centres, federal and governmental organisations from several countries in the world.
The first State-of-the-Art Report of the RILEM Technical Committee 266-MRP “Measuring Rheological Properties of Cement-based Materials” has been published this month 15 October 2023.
The book demonstrates the importance of enhancing the reliability of rheological measurements performed on concrete and represents the current state of the art on the measurement of rheological properties of complex materials.
The goals of RILEM TC-266 MRP were the State-of-the-Art Report, a comprehensive Round-Robin Test on concrete rheometry and three publications focusing on aspects of rheometry of cement-based materials.
The results and interpretation of the Round-Robin Test are discussed in a topical collection in Materials and Structures journal:
