Tuesday 12 November at 11:00 in the Moot Court (MST.02.006)
Join us for the book launch of Rethinking human rights: Critical insights from Palestinian youth as part of the Human Rights Law in Perspective series (Hart/Bloomsbury 2024) by Dr Erika Jiménez. Dr Jiménez will give a talk about the book and share recent reflections and reactions from some of the Palestinian advisory group who guided the research for this book. We are delighted to be joined by Professor Colin Harvey who will chair the event and Professor Laura Lundy who will discuss the importance of listening to (and acting on) the views of children and young people.
The event will take place at 11:00am-1:00pm Tuesday 12 November at the Moot Court, School of Law. The launch is hosted by the Human Rights Centre at the School of Law and refreshments will be served after the discussion. Everyone is welcome to attend by registering.
