Last month, Gift Sotonye-Frank was one of four PhD students from across Queen's selected to join a Researcher Excellence event at Ulster Museum. Lining up alongside PhD researchers from Engineering, Maths and Physics, and Pharmacy, Gift had just three minutes to capture the audience's attention. Did she make it within the time? Yes, she did a wonderful job, conveying the importance of her work to all present, including the Vice Chancellors of both Queen's and Ulster University. We're hoping that this year Gift will help to inspire and train her fellow Law PhDs, guiding them in how to present their research for diverse audiences.
