Thank you to our outgoing School of Law Representative (undergraduate) for the Student Voice Committee, Ben Wilson.

Ben chaired the Student Voice Committee meetings for the academic year 2023-24. He set the agenda and facilitated important discussions with the Director of Education and Head of School. He handled complex queries sensitively and confidentially, ensuring the students' privacy was maintained and considerations were given to protect the wellbeing of all involved. Ben was crucial in implementing change across many areas, including issues relating to diversity and inclusion (EDI). He made a real difference in prioritising the well-being of students, especially in terms of their studies and the pressures around examinations. Ben used streamlined and efficient methods of communication to gather testimonies and feedback from students and ensured these items were included on the agendas for discussion. Ben was always generous with his time in helping The School of Law with promotional work for NSS, focus groups and several other initiatives.

We are very fortunate to have had Ben's skills at our disposal over the last year. We will always be grateful for the difference he made. All the very best, Ben, with your future endeavours; we wish you every success!
