Module Overview: The "Regulating Reality: The Law of Misinformation" module was designed to address the pressing issue of online misinformation and its regulation. It explores key issues relating to the concepts around misinformation, the jurisprudence around misinformation, and the contemporary regional and domestic laws designed to curtail online misinformation (including the EU's Digital Services Act).
Crucially, students will be provided with unique insights into contemporary debates surrounding the legal challenges posed by the spread of online misinformation.
