Experience Physics @QUB

The aim of this event is to give you the opportunity to find out a bit more about Physics beyond school level. The event takes place in person in the Main Physics Building at Queen's University Belfast, and is the closest event that we provide to Work Experience. Please note that it is open to AS Level (or equivalent) students only, and as it is the same for each day, you need only attend for one of the three dates.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all who attend.

Schedule (subject to change):
10:00 - 10:30 - Welcome
10:30 - 11:30 - Research talk by a member of staff
11:30 - 12:30 - Meeting with current students and tour of teaching labs
12:30 - 13:00 - Lunch (provided)
13:00 - 13:30 - Meeting with Alumni
13:30 - 14:00 - Intro to practical activity
14:00 - 16:00 - Practical activity & tour of research labs
16:00 - 16:30 - Wrap up & closing session
