The 2022-23 QUB Maths Competition for Schools was held in the South Dining Hall on Friday 2 December 2022, with 16 schools from around the country taking part. After the first two gruelling rounds (with 10 questions and only 45 minutes in each), and 5 rounds of the mathematics quiz, the winners of the tight race for the top places were:

St Louis Grammar School Ballymena (1st place)

Wallace High School Lisburn (2nd place)

Ballyclare High School and St Patrick's Academy Dungannon (joint 3rd place)

In addition, the Belfast Royal Academy team receives commendation for their strong performance in rounds 1 and 2.

Congratulations to all the students who took part in this challenging event and a huge thank you to the mathematics teachers and schools for supporting and participating in the competition and making it such a memorable event.
