As part of Mathsweek Ireland 2022, QUB is delighted to welcome writer, broadcaster and all-round Maths evangelist Bobby Seagull, who will give a talk on his life in Maths to pupils from schools across the country.

After several years' hiatus, Mathsweek at QUB is back. We'll be hosting teacher, broadcaster and writer Bobby Seagull, who will deliver what promises to be a thoroughly inspiring and entertaining talk on everything from the right number of friends to have to the power of prime numbers controlling credit card numbers and cicada insect hibernation habits.
The event is suitable for all high school age students, but of particular interest to those between 13 and 15.
