After-work screening of "Coded Bias" on Monday 26th June with FREE food and drink.  

The School of Maths and Physics is delighted to invite all EPS students and staff to join us in the Larmor lecture theatre from 17:00 to enjoy the screening of "Coded Bias" with free food and drink.  Register your interest here  - registration closes on Tuesday 20th June at 10:00 AM. 

In this feature length documentary (1.5 hr) from Netflix, Joy Buolamwini from MIT explores the bias in algorithms that are increasingly controlling major life decisions for people around the world.  Pizza from 17:00, screening starting at 17:30.
