Physics Work Experience is open to all who are currently studying Maths & Physics at AS Level (or equivalent).

The aim of the event is to give you the opportunity to find out more about Physics beyond school level. As the programme is the same every day, you need only attend once. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all participants.

Tentative Schedule for each day:
10:00 - 10:30 - Welcome
10:30 - 11:30 - Research talk by a member of staff
11:30 - 12:30 - Meeting with current students and tour of teaching labs
12:30 - 13:00 - Lunch (provided)
13:00 - 13:30 - Introduction to practical session
13:30 - 16:00 - Practical activity and tours of research labs
16:00 - 16:30 - Wrap up and closing session.
