The focus of the Operads and Calculus Workshop is the equivariant homotopy theory that comes from two sources:

• Equivariant operads: generalisations of operads to G-spaces and (ring) G-spectra and associated algebraic-representation theoretic constructions such as incomplete Mackey and (bi)-incomplete Tambara functors.
• Functor calculus: particularly those constructed by Goodwillie, Weiss and Johnson-McCarthy, alongside equivariant generalisations and modern descriptions in terms of infinity categories and operads.

This invitation-only event will report on new developments and introduce researchers to the area, with an emphasis on early-career mathematicians. There will be two introductory lecture series (3 hours each): one series on equivariant operads, given by Mike Hill, and the other on homotopy calculus, given by Kristine Bauer. Invited and contributed talks will focus on recent advances and new directions.
