UNIVERSITY TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIPS 2019-20
Emily Sarah Montgomery Travel Scholarship
A number of Emily Sarah Montgomery Travel Scholarships are available for award in 2019-20. The Scholarships are open to postgraduate students who are enrolled as students for approved courses of study in this University and who intend to travel outside Ireland to undertake a period of research or further education. The award will be up to a maximum award of £400. The Emily Sarah Montgomery Travel Scholarships are not tenable with any other travel scholarship or travel grant, including Erasmus.
Sir Thomas Dixon Travel Scholarship
A number of Sir Thomas Dixon Travel Scholarships are available for award in 2019-20. The Scholarships are open to undergraduate or postgraduate students of Queen’s University intending to travel outside the Britain/Ireland in order to pursue cultural activities abroad. The award will be up to a maximum award of £600.
This round of scholarships is for travel to be undertaken between October 2018 and March 2020 inclusive.

Completed applications forms should be submitted by email, via your Head of School, not later than 4.00 pm on Wednesday, 23 October 2019, to: aascholarships@qub.ac.uk. Application forms must be typed or word-processed and submitted in electronic format.
Please Note: You can still apply for a travel scholarship even if you have not received confirmation that your abstract has been accepted. Awards will only be paid on production of travel booking confirmation/receipts. All awards are subject to funding availability.
