As part of these celebrations, the Gender Equality Committee has organised a series of events that will take place throughout the month. These are some of the events within our School with further events planned University wide.
Tuesday 8 March 10-11am. Top Floor Interaction Area, IRCEP
Tea and coffee morning to kick off the events.
Week of 23 March (a mix of virtual/in-person)
This Mentorship Event is aimed at pairing gender minority academic/research staff/technicians and PhD students with gender minority undergraduate and PGT students. The aim is to discuss pursuing and working in STEM fields and to share your experiences. The event will take place over several time slots across the week of 23 March. It will be a mixture of virtual and in-person 45-minute sessions pairing 4-5 students with a mentor for the time slot. We are looking for volunteers to serve as mentors for one of these sessions.
Please register your interest to be a mentor by 11 March https://forms.office.com/r/1xCLnP5uJx
