Advanced Diagnostics of Low and Atmospheric Pressure Plasmas
Beginning with Langmuir Theory, I have moved on to study a few different electrical models with the aim of correlating them and investigating whether in certain situations which can be used better than the others. The eventual aim is to limit the use of Langmuir Probe diagnostics on plasmas with electrical and optical alternatives that don't give rise to chances of perturbation within the plasma.
Biography
Born in Lisburn and have since lived there, attended Oakwood IPS before moving onto RBAI for secondary school education. Developed a keen love of physics immediately and have wished to pursue it ever since. Studied at both GCSE and A-level before moving onto QUB to complete a BSC in Astrophysics. During my second year, I was accepted onto the MSCI which I completed in Medical Physics before applying for a PhD in my final year. Outside of Physics, I am part of the scouts and have been since the age of four.
