Current research project

High-Resolution Characterisation of Exoplanet Atmospheres

My research involves analysing high-resolution spectroscopic data from ground-based observatories, with a view to characterising the principal chemical components of their atmospheres.

Biography

Originally from Northern Ireland, I left for England in 2015, where I attended the University of Nottingham. After four years, I graduated with MSci Physics with Theoretical Astrophysics. My Master's thesis focused on high-redshift galaxy evolution. I then undertook full-time employment in an IT role for two years, before returning to NI to start my PhD at Queen's in October 2021.
