The Naughton Scholarship programme was established in 2008 to promote the study of engineering, science and technology. Each year a number of exceptional students are awarded scholarships to study at undergraduate level at any publicly funded university or third-level institution in Ireland.  Caitlin McColgan who was educated at Scoil Mhuire, Buncrana, Co. Donegal was awarded a scholarship in 2018 and recently commenced her MEng degree programme in Aerospace Engineering at the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Queens.   The scholarship is aimed at encouraging exceptional students who intend to study in the STEM field and who will become future leaders in their field.  Caitlin is pictured above with Naughton Foundation founders Martin and Carmel Naughton.  Congratulations go to Caitlin on what is a fantastic achievement!
