School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Mark Early Retirement of Stephen Armstrong
Staff and friends from the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering gathered at Riddel Hall on the 12th of December to mark the occasion of Stephen Armstrong’s early retirement from Queens. Stephen has worked in the School since 1993. Having started his role with Rotosystems manufacturing Rotolog units (process monitoring hardware for rotational moulding) he has worked full time as a technician for the School since 2001. During this time he has worked on the electrical aspects of our educational and research based activities - providing expert support and guidance for our students, researchers and staff across a diverse range of projects. The event was marked by speaches from Prof. Brian Falzon (Head of School), Mr Jonathan Stewart (Head Technician) and Stephen himself. We would like to wish Stephen and Christine well for the future.
