Mach24 competition
On Friday July 12th, QUB Aerospace Society participated in the Mach24 competition, launching their I class rocket to a height of 1300m.
The rocket performed nominally and, thanks to its dual deployment system, was successfully recovered just 100m from the launch rail.
This achievement is a testament to the team’s dedication and effort in the design and development of the rocket. It was also a fantastic opportunity to meet, discuss, and learn from other teams at the competition.
The team would like to thank everyone at Machx_ for organising and hosting the event. The support and facilities were excellent, and we look forward to returning next year
