More DetailsStudents should be aware that the disposal of unsheathed needles into clinical or household waste bags is regarded as unsafe practice and will be dealt with under 'Fitness to Practice'.
ALWAYS use sharps disposal bins. Latex or other allergies must be reported to staff. Please use handgel when entering the Clinical Skills Centre.
DO NOT use yellow clinical waste bags for sharps or household rubish.
DO NOT bring food or drink into the Centre.
Students are reminded that mobile phones must be switched off in the Centre unless permission has been sought otherwise.
Dress code - Students should wear their School of Nursing and Midwifery tops in practical classes and full uniform for OSCE and Simulation classes.
