The lecture will take place on Monday 12th February 2024 at 17.30 in the Council Chamber, Lanyon Building, QUB, followed by a reception in the Canada Room.
About the Speaker
Professor Christine Brown Wilson is a Registered Nurse with an international research profile in Ageing and Dementia focusing on translating research into practice. Christine is the Director of Internationalisation promoting education and research partnerships for the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Christine is also a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and provides leadership to the School and University in promoting Educational Scholarship. Christine will share her experience of curriculum development using coproduction, codesign and consensus methods across three continents to maintain a dynamic curriculum for health professions. She outlines the lessons learned from co-production in nursing and midwifery education that can support programmes not engaged with healthcare to remain relevant to the changing global market
