CELEBRATING INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY 2021
The School of Nursing and Midwifery is proud to celebrate International Nurses Day (IND) 2021. We have planned an exciting virtual event and some initiatives to mark this global day of recognition for all nurses and the invaluable contributions they make to society!
International Nurses Day is celebrated globally on 12th May each year. This date marks the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birthday!
The theme for 2021 is 'Nurses: A Voice to Lead - A vision for future healthcare'. 2021 has highlighted the impact nurses make to patients, carers and families. It is now time to look into the future and focus on how the profession will transform the future of healthcare.
