Description of Project: Aim; Methods; Expected Outcomes
|
The aims of the study are to (i) to investigate and analyse the profile of the referrals made to and the scope of the work undertaken by MHTS; (ii) to investigate the views and experiences of patients, their Named Person, health and social care practitioners and Tribunal members of the MHTS processes and the outcomes achieved and; (iii) to investigate the extent to which MHTS gives effect to the Millan Principles and international human rights standards (iv) make recommendations regarding Human rights, mental health legislation and application in Scotland and wider relevance internationally
