Description of Project: Aim; Methods; Expected Outcome |
This project aims to facilitate assessors in developing a greater understanding of the factors that influence their judgements of student performance in both academic and practice settings. We co-design a ‘fit-for-purpose’ roadmap of professional development with assessors across disciplines to identify the key areas and best practices that will facilitate assessors to make defensible judgements of student performance. A focus of this roadmap is the provision of feedback to assessors on their marking behaviour. The expected outcomes are to incorporate the identified best practices into the co-designed roadmap, which will be disseminated across disciplines at QUB and external organisations that offer professional placements for students. |
