Description of Project: Aim; Methods; Expected Outcomes
|
This relationship development project aims to explore the feasibility of development of an industry/academic/clinical partnership between QUB and an internationally-facing industrial partner. The project will enable knowledge transfer and exchange between academics and industry that will facilitate greater understanding of the needs and demands of each sector in relation to their mutual interest in childhood disability. Specific aims: (1) scope mutual research interests; (2) identify national collaborators; (3) increase industry expertise in formal patient and public involvement in research; (4) jointly establish feasibility, organise and co-host, a joint meeting on Conservative Methods of Hip Management in Cerebral Palsy; (5) identify a focused area of research and conduct a systematic review in same.
