Undergraduate / Postgraduate Certificate in Nurse and Midwife PrescribingPre-registration programmes:
MSc Professional Nursing is aimed at people with degrees in other disciplines planning to begin a career in Nursing and is designed to produce competent, caring and effective practitioners. Successful students will register as a nurse with the NMC in the field they have studied.
MSc Midwifery is aimed at Adult Nurses wishing to begin a career in Midwifery, and results in registration with NMC as a midwife.
Post-Registration programmes:
MSc Advanced Professional Practice is aimed at registered nurses and midwives seeking to develop their career, deepen their specialism and move into more senior leadership roles.
MSc Advanced Professional and Clinical Practice is aimed at nurses and midwives seeking to develop their career, deepen their specialism and move into more senior leadership roles. It includes a period of clinical practice in an area of interest to the student.
MSc Caring for Children and Young People with Complex Health Needs is an interdisciplinary Masters designed to develop the knowledge, skills, training and education to work in caring for children and young people with complex health needs in a hospital and community setting.
Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy is delivered in partnership with the School of Sociology, Education and Social Work, and prepares Mental Health practitioners for an accredited qualification in CBP.
