Seminar Series 2024: Professor Cristin Ryan from Trinity College Dublin
The School of Pharmacy's Seminar Series 2024 continued with a seminar delivered by Professor Cristin Ryan from Trinity College Dublin (TCD) on Thursday 14th March.
Prof Ryan whose seminar was entitled "Precision Pharmacy: a concept or tangible reality" is Professor of Pharmacy Practice in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science, Trinity College Dublin.
Cristin's research interests are in developing interventions to improve the delivery of care, with a particular emphasis on services aimed at improving medication usage and safety.
Cristin worked as a lecturer at the School of Pharmacy, QUB, following her training as a pharmacist in the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland, her completion of a PhD at University College Cork and her post-doctoral training at the Centre of Academic Primary Care, School of Medicine, Aberdeen.
Following her work at QUB Cristin worked as a senior lecturer at the School of Pharmacy, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland before joining TCD in 2017.
