Dr Leon Litvack, Principal Editor of the Dickens Letters Project, has Article Published in the Times
Dr Leon Litvack held a hackathon event in London for coders and digital humanists, with the aim of using his database of Dickens’s correspondence as the basis for a game, to enhance research impact and engagement.
The participants developed a prototype, the aim of which was for the player to obtain an invitation to dinner with Dickens. Leon hopes to use this fledgling idea to create a fully-developed visual interface, through which the general public would interact with a virtual Dickens, so as draw them into a closer relationship with the author and his world.
