Spanish at Queens University
The arrival of the Bulletin in Belfast continues a long history of scholarship in the field of Spanish at Queen’s, which was one of the first UK universities to establish a chair in this emergent discipline.

2023 marks one hundred years of the Bulletin, and celebrations throughout the year include a double special issue; an Early Career Researcher panel hosted at the Association of Hispanists of Great Britain’s Annual Conference; an online conference in May 2023 titled Moving Geographies: 100 Years of ‘Spanish’ Visual Studies; culminating in a celebratory symposium and dinner at Queen’s University on 14 and 15 September 2023.
