Public outreach & key achievements
Dr. Mollaghan joined Film at QUB in August 2019. Prior to this, she was the programme leader for Film Studies and Film Studies with Film Production at Edge Hill University and the co-ordinator for the MA Digital Media and BA with Film Studies degrees at NUI Galway.
She holds a PhD from the University of Glasgow and an MPhil from Glasgow School of Art. She is currently the Review's Editor for animation: an interdisciplinary journal. She serves as a peer-reviewer for a number of academic publishers and journals. She been invited to speak at a number of public and academic events. She has served on the scientific committee for the biannual Seeing Sound Conference at Bath Spa University and has organised a number of symposiums on haunted landscapes in film and music, revolution in film and music and the audiovisual relationship in cinema.
