- His work has led to new ways of viewing the songs of the German 1848 Revolution which were revived in the post WWII German folk revival. See above website.
- Research results were presented at the Rudolstadt Folk Festival, Germany in July 2013 in front of an audience of school teachers and social workers who used German song in classes on political education.
