Public outreach & key achievements
My monograph, 'Spiritual Wounds: Trauma, Testimony and the Irish Civil War' (2022) was awarded the 2023 Whitfield Prize from the Royal Historical Society and the Michael J. Durkan Prize for Books in Language and Culture 2022 by the American Conference of Irish Studies (ACIS). I am the QUB Fulbright Ambassador, a member of the Young Academy Ireland (YAI), and a board member of the pioneering Irish-language youth and community organisation, Glór na Móna.
