OUTburst
Cured! Normal and Normaller
Queer at Queen’s for OUTburst Queer Arts Festival, Belfast
12th – 20th November 2010
This year’s Queer at Queen’s takes as its focus the mainstream desire to ‘normalise’ all who sit outside, or actively resist, popular notions of what is ‘normal’.
Looking at sexuality, disability, health and ill health, this performance and discussion-based event poses questions about ‘compulsory’ ‘normality’ and challenges our own ideas about what is ‘normal’.
