Heather Roche (clarinets) and Eva Zöllner (accordion)
Eva Zöllner (accordion) and Heather Roche (clarinets), both long since active on the international stage as soloists and chamber musicians, come together for the second year of their collaboration, and present a number of new pieces for their instruments in combination with electronics. From Pierre Alexandre Tremblay's sprawling asinglewordisnotenough4 with its meandering dissonances, noise and thumping rhythms, to new works by Luis Antunes Pena and Antti Saario. The two musicians then add some recent solo collaborations into the mix, works by Michelle Lou (for bass clarinet and Bluetooth speaker) and Farzia Fallah (for accordion and electronics).
