Chinese music has always been greatly influenced by Western music, yet it maintains its unique Chinese character, enriched by language and poetry culture.
Sit back and enjoy the enchanting melodies and rhythms of the East as the gap is bridged between cultures through the universal language of music.
Shi Yi Fan is currently working with Prof. Franziska Schroeder and Dr. Matthew Rodger on coping with music performance anxiety in PhD Programme (Music) at QUB. She is the holder of joint full scholarship from CSC & QUB.
She graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music(China) with a BMu(Education) and was awarded full scholarship by CSC to study at the Koldaly Institute of the Liszt Academy of Music in Hungary in 2018 and graduated with straight A's. In 2021, she entered UCL IOE to continue her studies in Music Education.
Chinese baritone Zheng Tu currently studies with Stephan Loges, Peter Robinson and Andrew West at Guildhall School of Music & Drama in the Artist Masters Programme (Vocal Studies). After gaining BMus (Hons) in Vocal Studies at Xiamen University, he built his reputation as a soloist and vocal teacher at Hong Kong-Macao-Guangdong Great Bay Area.
Boyan Guo is an accomplished director and producer with a wealth of experience in organising and planning concerts, stage productions and related activities in China. A graduate of Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, he is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Film at QUB.
