Research Interests: | | Professor John McCanny is an international authority in the design of silicon integrated circuits for Digital Signal Processing, having made many pioneering contributions to this field.
He co-founded two successful high technology companies, Audio Processing Technology Ltd., and Amphion Semiconductor Ltd, a leading supplier of System-on-Chip cores for video compression (now part of Entropic Communications Inc.)
